"I can't thank you enough for another wonderful
trip on the Dream Catcher. It was truly rewarding to hear the conversations
between the scouts and their parents at the airport while we were
waiting for our bags. Scouts that are known for one word answers were
chatting away, non-stop. The scout were comparing fish sightings,
weather information, as well as what the worst job was. These were
all experiences of a lifetime.
Our crew spent over 6 months discussing and preparing
for the five days of sailing. This being my second trip with you,
I was able to describe the beautiful snorkeling, the sailing and teamwork
that the scouts would be experiencing. One of my fears was the trip
would not live up to my descriptions. That was not a problem as you
and Captain Alan Weeks provided a fun and informative sail training
experience.
I have had the opportunity to bring each one of my sons
on your ship and they both have come away with some great memories.
I hope at some point in the future, I can schedule my third trip and
bring one or both sailing again.
Thanks again, and I look forward to sailing on the Dream
Catcher in the future."
Sincerely,

"I can’t imagine how our
Boy Scout troop could have had a better time on your vessel. We all
arrived safely home through Indianapolis airport, got all our stuff
and headed out for lunch with their parents who came to meet them.
The conversations were non-stop from even the quietest boys all about
the great experiences you provided. The parents were fascinated with
the things their boys got to experience, how well they did them, and
how excited they were!!! Having been on many boat trips myself as
a diver I was extremely pleased with your consistent balance of running
a tight ship with an unrelenting focus on safety - yet, you kept the
tone very positive and fun by integrating your teaching directly into
the boys’ adventure. They clearly became a cohesive crew and
it was neat to see how the different ages and abilities bonded with
each other. They were thrilled to learn to pilot the boat, raise,
lower, and trim the sails, and even deal with the boat’s maintenance.
Having your long-boat and kayaks along really added to their experience.
I appreciated that your snorkeling and boating gear was of good quality,
in good condition, and well organized. Several of the boys commented
how they really enjoyed how your considerable depth of knowledge and
explanations of the entire area really made the history came alive
and be much more real for them. All of them increased their appreciation
of how to apply their knot-tying scout training. I think the comments
of the four of the older boys that are or about to be Eagle Scouts
who had been on many high adventure trips best summed up this experience
when they said “this was the best adventure trip” they
had ever done."
