DREAM CATCHER 74 ft. overall Custom built Steel Schooner Equipment: Single Side Band Radio The vessel ‘Dream Catcher” is a 74’ Steel Schooner.
She was built at Treworgy Yachts in Palm Coast, Florida in 1996. She was
designed by marine architects Woodin and Marean from Maine. Her conception,
design factors and interior design came from Captain John Duke. John grew
up on the waters of Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida and has been sailing
these waters for 40 years. During this time he has worked with scientific
research groups, youth groups, environmental groups. Captain John has
been USCG licensed since 1979 sailing the Florida Keys and Bahamas. The“Dream
Catcher” is now sailing the waters here in South Florida. The Dream Catcher is ideal for large families,youth programs,university marine science programs and groups (scouts, clubs, students) interested in participating and learning the fundamentals of sailing, navigational skills,and marine sciences .We are looking for groups that want to be part of the adventure! We are also available for Romantic Weddings at Sea and Family Reunions!
